Welcome to Micro Monday, week 12! This week we’re featuring prose from Brittany Thomas and Kathryn Silver-Hajo, and poetry from Stefanie Kirby. We’re really getting into it on this dreadful Monday as we muse and philosophize about death, from this side, from the hereafter, and holding our breath from just beneath the surface. There’s hopelessness, there’s earnestness, but there’s also levity. As in life, so in death, I suppose. Or at least, I hope.
An interesting coincidence I noticed about these three pieces is they all feature circular metallic objects—two a coin, one a ring—and water. I’ll let you contemplate those links on your own, dear readers, for my comments must remain, as always, micro.
Read now! Before you meet your end!
